TrueCostHousing is independently run, so a message sent here is read by the person who maintains the site — not a support team, a call center, or a third party. Nothing you enter into a calculator is included automatically; only what you choose to type in your email is sent. Messages are not sold or shared, and are used only to answer you or to fix the site.

Because the site is maintained by one person, replies are not instant and there is no guaranteed response time — corrections that affect accuracy are prioritized. If something looks urgent, such as a safety issue with the site itself, say so plainly in your message.
